Bella Vista (AR) Fire Station 3 Now Has Ambulance Service

FA reported that Bella Vista fire station 3 opened on January 31. Well, now it has ambulance service, too.

The former Station 3 wasn’t large enough to house an ambulance crew at 2,500 square feet, reports nwaonline.com. But the new facility’s square footage is exactly three times that.

Housing an ambulance at Station 3—located at the intersection of Glasgow and Edinburgh roads, across from its predecessor—means it will arrive minutes earlier, according to the report.

New Station 3 has individual sleeping quarters, as opposed to communal ones, six bedrooms, a larger kitchen, an office, and a workout room. The new digs also has three drive-through bays, up from two at the former facility.
