Ambulance and Car Collide in Prince George’s County (MD), Three Hospitalized

Three people were hospitalized after a crash involving a Prince George’s County ambulance and another vehicle late Friday night.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Crain Highway and Harbour Way in Bowie, DC News Now reports.

According to the Prince George’s County Fire Department, two ambulance personnel and one civilian were transported to the hospital for evaluation of their injuries.

Photos shared on social media showed the car overturned off the roadway. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and it is unclear whether the ambulance was responding to an emergency or had its lights and sirens activated at the time.
