Amarillo (TX) Fire Department Launches Third Paramedic Engine

The Amarillo (TX) Fire Department recently launched its third paramedic engine.

Housed at Station 7 by Grand Street and Amarillo Boulevard, the engine provides paramedic-level advanced life support care to patients.

“This cooperative initiative between AFD and AMS (Amarillo Medical Services) provides advanced equipment and medications for all three of AFD’s Paramedic Engines,” the department wrote on Facebook. “The additional equipment and medications provide the tools for our paramedic members to quickly provide advanced life-saving interventions and streamline the transfer of care to AMS.”
