Paterson (NJ) has New Fire Training Equipment

New firefighter training equipment for the city’s fire department will be unveiled Tuesday morning.

Paterson Fire Chief Michael Postorino will introduce the new state-of-the-art firefighter training equipment at 10 a.m. in the Paterson Fire Department Headquarters at 850 Madison Ave.

Funding for the new equipment was made possible through the Firefighter Investment Response Enhancement (FIRE) Act, legislation that U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) introduced in 1999.
