Hurst Jaws of Life® Introduces New eDRAULIC 2.0 Ram

SHELBY, NC—Hurst Jaws of Life®, a global manufacturer of rescue tools, debuted the eDRAULIC 2.0 R 421E2 telescopic ram during FDIC International 2015.

“We are thrilled to be adding another industry first to our eDRAULIC line,” said Bruce Johnston, director of marketing and product management for HURST Jaws of Life, Inc. “This new ram is the only battery-powered telescopic rescue ram on the market. Our engineers paid careful attention to the product’s design, making it compact, but with enough strength to effectively help in almost any precarious situation.”

The R 421E2 telescopic ram extends to 53 inches with a maximum pushing force of 28,600 pounds. The newly designed, sharp claws at both ends of the ram can be rotated 360 degrees, and the ergonomically designed, star-grip permits tool actuation from almost any gripping position.

The ram weighs only 41.9 pounds and comes with two Li-Ion rechargeable batteries and one charger.
