Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers tweeted a photo of himself standing alongside city firefighters and a fire truck after dropping off 50 plastic face shields, reports azcentral.com.
The Mayor told The Arizona Republic that he did not order any fire trucks to be taken out of service for the photo. That decision was made by the on-duty deputy fire chief, he said.
