Feb. 12—HARRISBURG — More than $250,000 for fire departments and emergency medical service providers is part of a group of state grants announced this week by legislators.

Fire departments and emergency medical service providers in the 53rd state House district have been awarded a total of $121,791 in grants from Pennsylvania’s Fire Company and Emergency Medical Services Grant Program, state Rep. Steve Malagari, D-53rd, announced Tuesday.
