East Haven (CT) Gets FEMA Grant for Coronavirus Expenses

East haven is among the 50 fire departments to receive FEMA grants to reimburse communities for COVID-19 expenses, reports New Haven Register.

The East Haven Fire Department received $68,819 under the program. West Haven had previously received a grant.

The funding will reimburse money already spent on critical personal protective equipment and supplies needed to prevent, prepare for and respond to the public health emergency.
