Cibolo (TX) Budgeted Funds for Fire Equipment

Cibolo city officials are proposing keeping its current rate, homeowners could see their average property taxes increase an average of $56.81 to $869.70 because average home values have risen to $195,262 from $182,507, an increase of $12,755, according to Anna Miranda, Cibolo city finance director.

Miranda said the proposed budget includes the replacement of eight police department vehicles, new self-contained breathing apparatus equipment for the fire department, land acquisition for a future fire station in the southern part of the city, new IT director’s position and increasing compensation levels for 26 labor positions within the public works department and a 2 percent cost of living increase for all full-time and selected part-time positions.
