Big Moose, NY-Recently the Big Moose Fire Co. and Big Moose Ambulance Co. received a $1,000 donation from Dave Peterson, of Fourth Lake and Boonville, to install a new Camoplast track on its Rescue Snowmobile.

The Snowmobile is used to tow the Big Moose Ambulance Rescue Sled and the Big Moose Fire Co. Fire Sled on EMS, fire and rescue calls in their service area. The rescue Sled is equipped with an EMS equipment bag, automatic electronic defibrillator (AED), backboard, stokes basket and other rescue equipment. The Fire Sled is equipped with a 150 gallon-per-minute (gpm) water pump, ice augur, fire hose, chain saw, and other firefighting equipment.
