PL Custom Body and Equipment Co. Inc. has supplied a second critical care transport vehicle to Lutheran Health Network in Fort Wayne, Indiana, an identical unit to one PL Custom built and delivered to Lutheran in November 2014.

The department was able to get a stock fire truck similar to what it wanted brought to the station, backed into a bay to clear the overhead, and fit securely in the apparatus bay.
The rescue-pumper, delivered in June 2015, is built on a Marauder II chassis with a 141-inch cab with a 10-inch raised roof and is powered by a Cummins 450-horsepower engine and an Allison six-speed automatic transmission.
The vehicle is a pumper-tanker on a Kenworth T470 two-door chassis powered by a Paccar PX-9 380-horsepower diesel engine and an Allison transmission and carrying a Darley LSP 1,000-gallon-per-minute (gpm) pump for pump-and-roll, and a 3,500-gallon APR Plastic Fabricating polypropylene water tank.
