Renovation Plans for Harrison Township Fire Station (WI) Delayed

Plans to renovate, or reconstruct, a Harrison Township fire station have been delayed due to COVID-19, reports C&G Newspapers.

The fire station was built in 1972 and reflects its age in he layout, living area, bathrooms and kitchens. The fire station also needs updates to plumbing, wiring and HVAC systems. Renovation costs are estimated at around $1.2 million. Some officials are considering whether it would make more sense to build a new fire station.

No contractor was ever hired for the station’s intended renovations.
