Provided by the M.D of Willow Creek, rescue 11 was put into service last month, reports Nanton News.
The fire department posted on Facebook, “Rescue 11 is an upgrade allowing us to carry specialized rescue equipment that will assist in rope, water/ice rescues.”
The fire department’s combined pumper and rescue vehicle has now been re-designated as a pumper unit with some capabilities with respect to structural rescue. An asset replacement strategy for the re-designated unit is now needed.
