Broken Arrow celebrated with the last beam added to the fire station, reports Public Radio Tulsa.
Due to COVID-19, officials were not able to hold a ground breaking ceremony.
Bonds voters approved in 2011 and 2014 paid for about three-fourths of the roughly $4 million cost of building.
The new fire station is expected to open in April. The new station will house a fire engine, ambulance and brush truck.
