Fire Equipment Stolen from Dodge County (GA) VFD Fire Apparatus

A siren and radio was stolen from fire truck belonging to a Dodge County Volunteer Fire Department, reports WMGT 41.

The newly purchased equipment went missing about a week ago. The radio was paid with grant money at a cost of $800. The department receives roughly $6,000 per year but has expenses at $14,000. The fire chief said that the radio was used by someone to pose as a first responder.
