Upper Gwynned Township, Pennsylvania, commissioners recently voted unanimously to approve $1.6 million for the Upper Gwynedd (PA) Fire Department to purchase two new fire apparatus.

The department intends to purchase a new rescue-pumper and a single-axle quint. Rosenbauer has been contracted to manufacture the two new vehicles. The two new rigs will replace the fire company’s current ladder truck, which is 19 years old, and its squad, which is 17 years old.
