Stanford Heights (NY) Wants to Build New Fire Station

Stanford Heights firefighters are hopeful voters will approve a new fire station, reports Spotlightnews.com.

The current building is small and older, with repairs and maintenance costing about $100,000 a year.

The district, established in 1920, built the fire station in 1955. An addition was made in 1970 and a new bay in 1992 was built.
