Cleveland (NY) VFD Unveils Distinctive Fire Apparatus

A new 2,500-gallon pumper truck joined the fleet in the Village of Cleveland as one of three black-colored trucks in the fleet, reports Rome Sentinel.

The Village of Cleveland has been slowly building a black-colored fleet for nearly 20 years. The new 2,500-gallon Pierce pumper truck is the third such black apparatus at their small department. It cost roughly $430,000 out of the taxpayer budget.

The department has eight total trucks and 25 firefighters.
