Pierce Delivers Enclosed Top-Mount Pumper to Taylor (BC)

The Taylor (Britsh Columbia) Fire & Rescue Service recently took delivery of an enclosed top-mount Pierce pumper. The new truck, costing just under $850,000 replaces a 1997 unit. The truck was delivered to Vancouver for inspection before making its way to Taylor. The volunteer fire department will go through six to eight weeks training on the truck before placing it in service. The district is looking at options to upgrade the rest of the fleet.
