Video: SVI/Sutphen Heavy Rescue for Easton, Maryland

When specing its new heavy rescue, the Easton (MD) Volunteer Fire Department chose a 20-foot SVI stainless-steel body mounted on a Sutphen Monarch heavy-duty chassis with 20-inch raised roof that houses a 450-hp Cummins L9 engine with a “Hot Shift” PTO. The apparatus features a Command Light CL Series light tower, a Ramsey H800 20,000-pound hydraulic winch, Hannay low- and high-pressure air hose reels, a Norcold 3.6 cu.ft. refrigerator/freezer and more.
