This 2014 Ferrara Igniter pumper went into service with the Carrollton (TX) Fire Department in February, 2014, as Engine 112. The cab is an Igniter long cab model with an 8-inch raised roof and seating for a crew of 5. There are two cabinets in the rear area of the cab. The apparatus is constructed of heavy-duty extruded aluminum with full-height compartments and hinged doors. A hydraulic ladder rack is installed on the officer side.

The apparatus has a Waterous CSU midship 1,500-gpm pump and a 500-gallon polypropylene tank. Monarch Electric intake valves are on each steamer outlet. The front bumper contains a jump line with a bumper hose tray. The deck gun discharge has a TFT Extend-A-Gun riser pipe. The foam system is a FoamPro 2002 with a 30-gallon integral foam cell.

The vehicle’s drivetrain includes a Cummins ISL9 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. The warning lights are Whelen LEDs, and Whelen also provided PFP1 12-V LED brow lights and scene lighting. Audio warning devices include a bumper-mounted Federal Q2B and a Federal electronic siren module with a 100-watt speaker mounted through the front bumper.
