Augusta Fire Chooses KME for Fire Apparatus

KME Rear-Mount AerialNesquehoning, PA–KME is pleased to announce that Augusta Fire of Augusta, Georgia has awarded KME and NAFECO, KME’s Georgia sales representative organization, an order for seven custom pumpers and two 103-foot rear-mount ladders.

The pumpers will be built on KME’s Predator™ Severe Service™ chassis, designed for high-volume fleets. Features include a 450-hp engines, 1,500-gpm single-stage pumps, 750/30 gallon water/foam tanks, Class A foam systems, and a KME Challenger bodies.

The AerialCat™ ladders are on the same chassis with 500-hp engines, 2,000-gpm pumps, 500-gallon water tanks, and 10-kW generators.

These trucks will join six KME pumpers currently in production and a 103-foot AerialCat already in service at the department.
