NY Fire Apparatus Crashes En Route to Call; Woman Injured

A Jamestown (NY) Fire Department vehicle collided with a car on the way to a call, injuring the female driver of the other vehicle. Two firefighters who were in the vehicle were not injured in the crash.

According to a report in the Post-Journal (http://bit.ly/ydB3M0), the Jamestown Fire Department was responding to a reported structure fire when the department’s Car 1 and the woman’s car struck each other at an intersection.

The woman was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
