Streamlight Inc.® to Donate $1 to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation for Every Light Sold
Emmitsburg, MD –The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) announced that Streamlight Inc.® has created a new key-chain flashlight in recognition and support of the Foundation. Steamlight will donate one dollar from the sale of each Red Nano Light® to the NFFF.
The new Red Nano Light features the NFFF logo on one side and the Streamlight logo on the other. Although it is small, measuring just under1.5 inches, it is a powerful light with a white LED that carries 10 lumens and features a 100,000 hour lifetime.
“The Foundation is very pleased to work with Streamlight on this project that ultimately will benefit the families of the fallen,” said Ronald J. Siarnicki, executive director of the NFFF. “We greatly appreciate Streamlight’s commitment to our efforts.”
Streamlight also has renewed its “Bronze Helmet” sponsorship of NFFF with a donation of $10,000. This contribution will assist the Foundation’s mission to honor the memory of those firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice and to provide assistance for their families, including long-term support services and scholarships.
The United States Congress created the NFFF to lead a nationwide effort to remember America’s fallen firefighters. Since 1992, the nonprofit foundation has developed and expanded programs to honor fallen fire heroes and assist their families and coworkers. The NFFF also works closely with the U.S. Fire Administration to help prevent and reduce line of duty deaths and injuries.
