First Line Technology LLC, has been awarded a multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Health Affairs for respirators for the DHS Pandemic Stockpile.
The contract is for N95, N99, and N100 respirators for the purpose of H1N1, avian influenza and pandemic influenza preparedness for DHS personnel.
In response to events regarding the H1N1 influenza in the spring of 2009, DHS received funding for the preparation, planning and mitigation of an influenza pandemic.
“This award of the IDIQ allows DHS to be proactive in their procurement strategy of effective respirators for pandemic influenza preparedness,” said First Line President Amit Kapoor.
First Line Technology has partnered with Louis M. Gerson and Co. to deliver high-quality N95, N99, and N100 respirators that are made in the U.S. The IDIQ contract provides a procurement vehicle that all 22 of DHS’s component agencies can use for building a nationwide stockpile of respirators.
