Fouts Bros. Fire Equipment of Smyrna, Ga., has created a new Web site with an interactive online product display.
Sales Manager Travis Rakestraw said a comprehensive Web site in today’s economy is critical. “With the decreases in our customers’ budgets, it is necessary for Fouts Bros. to create a low cost or no cost evaluation process,” he said. “The new Web site allows current and future Fouts Bros. customers to view in detail, and with a high level of clarity, our standard product line and all of our features without leaving the fire department.”
The new Web site – www.foutsbrosfire.com – focuses on interactive photography that has high resolution for customers to view specific options.
Scott Edens, Fouts Bros. general manager, pointed out the geographical necessity for a dynamic Web site. “It is not feasible for us to drive multiple demonstrators across country for a potential customer to review our wide ranging selection of apparatus,” he said.
Edens predicted technology will play a large role in the evaluation process and declared Fouts Bros. intends to be a leader in providing technology that allows fire chiefs to make the best possible purchasing decisions.
Fouts Bros. Inc, started in 1952 by CJ and Jerry Fouts, has been producing fire apparatus since 1990. Originally specializing in the tanker market, the company also builds rescue trucks, brush trucks, pumpers and emergency service vehicles.
