Hale Products has developed an open chassis skid unit called the HP300DY-O that is described as ideal for wildland firefighting.

The HP300DY-O has a Hale 30FS pump coupled to a Yanmar EPA Tier III powerplant with a pre-wired control panel with cover. It is designed for installation on fire apparatus for wildland, ARFF or pump-and-roll applications. It can generate up to 250 gpm, National Fire Protection Association 1901-rated, as well as 300 gpm at 150 psi.

“The HP300DY-O is a cost effective, compact unit that is perfect for many wildland firefighting applications,” said Chad Dean, Hale’s skid and trailer sales manager. “It is configured for easy installation and is available in bronze fitted cast iron or all bronze pump construction with a full selection of Hale accessories.”
