Hannay To Show Hose And Cable Reels At FDIC

Issue 4 and Volume 14.

Hannay Reels plans to exhibit a variety of reels for firefighting and rescue at the annual Fire Department Instructors Conference April 23-25 at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Hannay has set a standard of quality and reliability for hose reels in the fire-fighting industry. The standard F Series reel is a dependable, rugged reel designed for booster hose with the ability to handle single 3/4-inch I.D. or 1inch I.D. hose, pressures to 1000 psi (69 bar) and temperatures from -60 to +250 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Super Booster reel weighs up to 30 percent less than a standard booster reel due to its aluminum construction. Stainless steel construction is also available.

The Hannay ECR1600 Series power rewind cable reel offers live connection of power cable for direct wiring to a collector ring assembly for continuous current during cable payout and rewind. It features a 45-amp 3-conductor 600-volt collector assembly with No. 8 gauge wiring from the collector ring to the junction box. The standard collector assembly has copper graphite brushes with copper alloy rings for each circuit.

Available in manual or power rewind models, the FL & FH 1500 Series hose reel is ideal for use with 1/4-inch to 1/2inch breathing air hose. The F1500 Series reels are available in a variety of high-pressure ratings, thread styles, user configurations and joint types.
