Rosenbauer Appoints Dealers In Florida, Canada

Rosenbauer America has appointed a second dealer in Florida, as well as a Quebec dealer to cover eastern Canada.

EVS Firefighting Technology, based in Broward County, Fla., joins Fire Fighting Innovations in that state. Fire Fighting Innovations handles Miami-Dade, Putman, Gilchrest, Lee and Charlotte counties, as well as the Florida panhandle. EVS will have responsibility for the remaining parts of Florida.

The principals of EVS Firefighting Technology collectively have over 60 years of industry experience in the automotive, fire service and emergency warning equipment industry along the East Coast, according to Rosenbauer.

Tony Angelella, who has over 20 years of fire service and sales experience, has been hired as the EVS general manager.

Areo-Feu/Areo-Fire of Longueuil, Quebec, has been appointed as the Rosenbauer America dealer to service the provinces of Quebec, New Brunswick and Labrador, as well as portions of northern Ontario.

A full-service dealership with 40 employees, Areo-Feu caters to a French and English speaking clientele of career and volunteer fire departments from a 35,000-square-foot facility just south of Montreal.

Areo-Feu supplies firefighting and fire protection services and equipment for eastern Canada’s municipalities, industry and government agencies. The company has mobile road service capability and a 10-bay service center with an enclosed pump-testing area using an underground water storage tank.

Founded in 1951 by Jean Picard, day-to-day management of the company is handled by Jean-Max Picard, president; Helene Picard, vice president; and Josee Guillemette, controller. Other key personnel include Stephane Bouvier, sales director; Stephane Ferland, service director; and Benoit Simard, fire truck specialist.
