Akron Brass has added personnel to their sales and support organization providing even more customer focus and service in several markets.
Kent Anselmi has been appointed OEM Account Manager and is responsible for managing customer accounts in the North/Central region of the U.S. He has worked with Akron Brass for three years as a municipal district sales representative.
Butch Momchilov will also become an OEM Account Manager and will be responsible for managing those accounts in the Southeast region of the U.S. Joining the company approximately 9 years ago, he most recently served as the company’s product manager.
Next, Tim Van Fleet has been promoted to Director OEM Sales and retains responsibility for his own accounts in the midwest as well as leading the OEM sales team focused on the Fire Apparatus OEM market.
Roger Beckler has been promoted to Director OEM sales and will be responsible for his own accounts as well as leading the team responsible for the ambulance, bus, and specialty vehicle OEM customers.
Beyond these appointments, Randy Smith has joined Akron Brass as a district sales representative covering North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. He has extensive prior experience in the industry.
Jeff Benson has been named product support manager and will be responsible for providing technical support to Akron Brass customers. Benson has most recently served as an Akron Brass district sales representative and has a strong electrical engineering background.
