MEDINA, Ohio – Joe Luic has been appointed production supervisor for Fire-Dex, a leading maker of firefighter turnout gear, wildland apparel and EMS gear. And Pam DeArmon joins Fire-Dex as a receptionist/administrative assistant.
Luic had most recently been employed at Blue Ridge Paper in Olmsted Falls. Prior to that, he worked for 12 years at Foseco Metallurgical Inc. where his last assignment was as product specialists.
He has 17 years of supervisory and operation management experience at cut and sew facilities owned by Richman Brothers Company and LaserCAM Systems Inc.
Luic is responsible for supervising day to day manufacturing operations for Fire-Dex liners, finishing, wildland apparel and Para-Dex EMS gear.
In her new job, DeArmon is responsible for supervising the company’s front office and phone systems and will help with customer billing, reporting to Dave Liana, director of finance.
Fire-Dex is a manufacturer of protective firefighting clothing and emergency response apparel. It manufactures NFPA compliant structural and proximity turnout gear – featuring its line of Express Gear: “5 styles delivered in 5 days or less.”
