Carson Sirens Makes Hand-Held Controller

Carson Sirens exhibited its hand-held mech-anical tone siren at this year’s Fire Department Instructors’ Conference in Indianapolis, Ind.

The hand-held remote 100-watt siren, with light controls all in the palm of the hand, is ideal for volunteer responders who want sirens out of the way when not in use, as the controller can be hidden.

The SC-1022 Volunteer siren offers the standard siren tones and a mechanical tone giving the user full coverage in all emergency responses. It features a rugged and reliable amplifier with exposed and accessible fuses on the back along with outputs for lights.

It is dip-switch programmable for different tones, and a remote amplifier offers an output on its face for diagnostics.
