Cole Hersee Has New Sealed Ignition Switch

A fully-sealed plastic ignition switch, ideal for emergency vehicle applications, has been introduced by the Cole Hersee Company.

The switch, constructed of durable engineering grade plastic, is available in a variety of configurations to meet all customers’ needs, including anti-restart, according to the manufacturer.

The switch has an integral Deutsch connector, and the contacts are sealed to European ingress protection ratings, according to Cole Hersee.

Available with or without a key boot, Cole Hersee’s plastic ignition switches are rated at 10 amps at 12 volts DC, 5 amps at 24 volts DC and are tested to pertinent Society of Automobile Engineers standards for ignition switches.
