Arrowhead Equipment has joined Crimson Fire as a new dealer servicing 10 counties in upstate New York.

Arrowhead, founded in 1987, sells and services truck equipment, working with municipalities, fleet and corporate customers. It has a longtime business relationship with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, supplying custom mounting hardware and electrical components for military vehicles.

"We are pleased that Arrowhead has chosen to represent Crimson Fire as they expand into the sales and service of fire apparatus," said William F. Doebler, vice president of sales and marketing for Crimson. "Their experience in truck equipment makes them ideally suited to support fire departments throughout the region."

Arrowhead's technicians are certified in welding and repair of diesel engines, pumps, hydraulic and air brakes and all types of trucks. The company employs 45 workers at two locations, maintains a heavy-duty body shop and truck repair/parts facility and offers 24-hour roadside assistance.

Travis Croteau, division manager for Arrowhead, said the company chose to represent Crimson because of its century-long experience in the industry and its superior truck body construction.
