Mason City Council Requests Ladder Truck Proposals

The Mason City Council is considering requesting proposals for a new ladder truck for the Mascon City Fire Department.

The council has $1 million earmarked in the capital improvement budget for the purchase of 105-foot ladder truck.

The requests for proposals will be sent to four vendors: Feld Fire Equipment, Carroll; Emergency One Apparatus, Ocala, (FL); Heiman Fire Equipment, Sioux Falls, (SD); and Rosenbauer Fire Apparatus, Wyoming, (MN).

Responses are due by September 17.
