The Frostburg Fire Department (MD) has a new base, named Price Station in honor of the family that has been volunteering as firefighters for generations, reports Cumberland Times-News.
The fire department, which has been operating entirely out of its Main Street station since the former No. 1 station was sold several weeks ago, will answer calls from Price Station.
Garage doors of the three bays at the new station are 14 feet tall, almost twice as high as the old station. The 14,000-square-foot building includes a communications room, administrative office and a decontamination shower.
