OCALA, FL - E-ONE, Inc., a manufacturer of first responder apparatus, has appointed Kent Tyler as president and CEO. Tyler replaces Peter Guile, who was appointed CEO of Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV), the parent company of E-ONE, in January. Tyler, 45, most recently served as president of Collins Bus Corporation, also an ASV portfolio company and leader of Type-A school bus production throughout North America. Tyler will continue to lead Collins Bus for the immediate future alongside his new responsibilities at E-ONE.

“I’m delighted to announce the appointment of Kent Tyler as leader for E-ONE.  He has an ideal background for E-ONE sharing our passion for quality, innovation and superior customer service,” Guile said. “Kent has a proven track record in developing employees and dealers, implementing operational excellence and delivering significant growth.”

Tyler has more than 14 years of experience in the specialty vehicle manufacturing industry, having joined Collins Industries in 1997.  He holds a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree from Missouri State University.       Tyler and his family will relocate to the Ocala, FL, area.

“I’m extremely excited to join E-ONE. Peter and the E-ONE team have done an outstanding job of establishing E-ONE as the preferred choice for apparatus,” stated Tyler. “I look forward to working throughout the entire organization to develop innovative first responder apparatus and serve our nations heroes.”
