
New Jersey Division of Fire Safety Releases Firefighter Injury Report Related to Catastrophic Failure of Large Diameter Hose Appliance
While participating in a training drill, a New Jersey firefighter was injured when a sand cast aluminum large diameter hose appliance catastrophically failed. This report identifies key issues and remedies that should be implemented within all New Jersey fire departments to prevent a reoccurrence of this type of incident.
